Volunteer
A volunteer is someone who wants to contribute in different ways, without profit, believing that what they offer helps others and is rewarding for themselves.
Volunteers can help, alone or as a group, by:
- Organising social, sports and cultural events to raise funds for the Association
- Selling raffle tickets
- Distributing leaflets and information material
- Accompanying patients to doctor visits
- Keeping patients company
- Shopping, cooking and ironing for patients who stay at home
- Accompanying patients on walks
